be real; not right (BRNR) is an independent creative house founded by Arizona-based artist and songwriter Rio Wiley Stinger and producer and musician Justin Nuckols. Our roots are in music. Years spent writing, recording, touring, playing festivals, and working within Arizona's independent music scene. From DIY venues and self-released records to national tours, record labels, and industry deals, we've experienced the music business from both sides. That experience shaped BRNR. We've worked with artists, built projects from the ground up, and learned firsthand what it means to navigate the creative and business sides of the industry. Along the way, our work naturally expanded beyond music into art, fashion, design, and live experiences. BRNR brings those disciplines together under one roof. We write and produce music, develop artists, direct creative projects, build visual identities, and create clothing and experiences that reflect our taste and perspective. We approach each with the same attention to detail, regardless of the medium. The name "be real; not right" reflects how we work. We value individuality over conformity, collaboration over ego, and the freedom to challenge ideas without needing to be right. We're not interested in defining what an artist should be or what creativity should look like.
